Σύντομο βιογραφικό

Οι Lacol είναι ένας μη κερδοσκοπικός, συνεταιρισμός εργασίας, που ιδρύθηκε το 2014, και βρίσκεται στη γειτονιά Σαντς της Βαρκελώνης. Η δραστηριότητά τους εδράζεται σε ένα οριζόντιο σύστημα κατανομής του μόχθου, η οποία περιλαμβάνει την αρχιτεκτονική, την πολεοδομία, στεγαστικές πολιτικές, και συμμετοχικές διαδικασίες, επιδιώκοντας να αναιρεθούν τα όρια που χωρίζουν τεχνητά τα γνωστικά αντικείμενα του χωρικού σχεδιασμού, με σκοπό τελικά να ορίσουν μια διαθεματική, διατομεακή προσέγγιση. Η συλλογική τους δουλειά έχει αναγνωριστεί και παρουσιαστεί σε τοπικό και διεθνές επίπεδο, έχουν βραβευτεί με το Moira Gemmill Prize (WomenAward by ArchitecturalReview, 2021), και έχουν συμμετάσχει στην πρόσφατη Μπιενάλε της Βενετίας, ‘How we live together’. To 2022 τους απονεμήθηκε το βραβείο Mies van der Rohe (Emerging Architecture Prize, 2022).  *Η Cristina Gamboa είναι αρχιτέκτονας και εκπαιδευτικός. Σπούδασε αρχιτεκτονική στο ETSAB και το Πανεπιστήμιο της Στουτγκάρδης. Η Cristina είναι συνιδρύτρια των Lacol, όπου αναλαμβάνει την ανάπτυξη και των σχεδιασμό έργων συνεταιριστικής κατοικίας. Διδάσκει στην Architectural Association (MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design – Projective Cities), και το ETSAB (DPA PIII_IV Contemporary Collective Housing), στη βαθμίδα της Αναπληρώτριας Καθηγήτριας. 

*Lacol is a non-profit cooperative of work founded in 2014, based in the neighborhood of Sants, Barcelona.  Their activity is based on a horizontal system of labor,  which embraces  Architecture, Urbanism, Housing policies and Participatory processes,  blurring the limits of the different disciplines to define a cross-sectional approach. Their collective work has been recognized and exhibited locally and internationally, including the Mies van der Rohe Award (Emergent Category, 2022), Moira Gemmill Prize (WomenAward by ArchitecturalReview, 2021), and the Venice Biennale of Architecture ‘How will we live together?’ (2021), among others *Cristina Gamboa  is a chartered architect and teacher. She studied at ETSAB, and University of Stuttgart. Cristina is co-founder of Lacol, where she has focused on developing cooperative housing projects. She currently teaches at AA (MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design – Projective Cities), and  ETSAB (DPA PIII_IV Contemporary Collective Housing, Associate Professor).
