The term "architecture of integration" describes questions of theory and practice, regarding the new architecture that fits into a historical environment, the old-new relationship and the issue of energy upgrading of the existing building stock.

In the lectures, a brief presentation is made –through examples– of the architecture of the post-war period, especially as regards the issue of integration, with comments on today's reality and the changes in representational media, materials and canons, as well as on the expanded role of the environmental perspective.

Students are given a bibliography and – electronically – the main images from the examples presented in the lectures. The course is examined through an original paper by each student, no longer than 1500 words. Specifically, the topic is given, the paper is submitted after a reasonable period of time, and oral or online support can be requested.
