Academic Position:

Professor with a subject area: "Study (measurements and recordings, processing, imaging, monitoring) of the natural space, as well as analysis, interpretation and evaluation of the characteristics of the natural and human environment in order to create an integrated information infrastructure and participate in the formulation of development programs" at the Department of ATM of the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

Research Interests:

Her research interests focus on theoretical and methodological issues related to modern methods of measurement and recording, processing, imaging, management and monitoring of natural space at different scales. She has participated as Scientific Officer or member of a Research Team in 20 Research Projects, funded by National or European institutions.

Publications:

Her research and studies have been published in edited volumes, in proceedings of national and international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. Total published work includes two (2) Dissertations, three (3) Teaching Notes, Seventy-two (72) published scientific papers and one (1) Electronic Media Publication.

Teaching project:

As a faculty member of RSE, he has been teaching continuously since 1992 until today in the Undergraduate Program. He teaches theoretical topics in Photogrammetry as well as application topics in Architecture and Archaeology and topics related to Digital Terrain Models.

He has also taught in the MSc "Geoinformatics" of TATM, issues of Geodetic-Photogrammetric Instrument Technology, as well as special issues of Digital Photogrammetry.

Since 1998 he has been teaching in the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programme: "Protection, Conservation, Restoration of Cultural Monuments of the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki".

Supervision of Diploma Theses, Postgraduate Theses and Doctoral Dissertations:

She has supervised, either as the main supervisor or as a co-supervisor, more than fifty (50) theses at TATM. She has also supervised a very large number of Postgraduate Theses at RSE and IHU. Finally, she has been the supervisor of one (1) PhD Thesis at IHU and one (1) at RSE.
