PHOTOGRAMMETRY, 3D SCANNING TECHNOLOGY AND SPACE INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR THE DOCUMENTATION OF EXISTING MONUMENTS
The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with photogrammetric surveying procedures and to laser scanner technology with an emphasis on digital technology, and to train them in the use of equipment and software for surveying and documentation.
The following subjects will be developed in the courses:
Principles and methods of architectural photogrammetry
Calibration of digital cameras
Visualization of 3D objects and space
Laser scanning for the survey of monuments
Geospatial information systems
Workshops will also be held in the following subjects:
Machine calibration
Digital image reduction
3D photogrammetry
Student Assessment methods
Written Assignment
Bibliography
