Fragkos Dimitrios

He was born in 1958 in Ioannina.

He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris.

1088-1990: Scientific specialist at the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the University of Athens.

1990-1999: Contract teacher at the École Supérieure d'Art et Design de St.-Etienne. Diploma thesis supervisor (directeur de recherhe) Diplôme National d’Arts Plastiques and Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique, member of judging committees (jurys nationaux D.N.A.P and D.N.S.E.P.), member of the organizing team of the first two Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne.

1999: Election to the position of assistant professor of the Department of Architecture of Athens University, 2004 to the position of substitute, 2008 to the position of professor with subject: Visual Arts - Painting.

For the last three years, he has been teaching the following courses at the P.P.S.:

  • Plan I
  • Painting I
  • Intervening in situ
  • Architectural Design and Artifacts
  • From branecrafting to fingerstorming
  • In the Interdepartmental Master's Program PROTECTION, MAINTENANCE AND RESTORATION OF CULTURAL MONUMENTS, he teaches the course "Color in cultural monuments and contemporary art".
