Laboratory Teaching Staff (L.T.S.) of the Department of Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic School of A.U.Th., Degree in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, A.U.Th. (1995), Master's degree in specialization of the DPMS Polytechnic School of Athens. (2004), PhD degree from the Department of Civil Engineering, Athens University of Applied Sciences. (2018). Member of the Union of Greek Chemists (E.E.X.). Laboratory support in the undergraduate course of the Department of Civil Engineering (Construction Materials I-ΤΕ0100) and in the postgraduate courses (Y03-Materials of Historic Constructions. E07-Science and Technology of Lime-based Mortars. A2.2 – Lime-based Mortars) of D .P.M.S. in the Maintenance and Restoration of Cultural Monuments of the Polytechnic School of Athens. Use of methodologies for instrumental chemical analysis of building materials and laboratory support of diploma theses and doctoral theses of the Building Materials Laboratory. Participation in National and European Research Projects and Seminars as well as in publications in Scientific Journals and Conferences mainly in the following areas: a) In the maintenance and restoration of monuments and historical buildings for the analysis and characterization of historical materials (mortars, stones, bricks) and b ) to check the suitability of construction powders (cement, lime, pozzolan, clay) and industrial by-products (fly ash, slag, glass). Research Projects such as: – EC-FORTMED: “Restoration and Use of the Early Medieval Fortifications in the East Mediterranean Countries”, EC 5th Framework Program INCO-MED, 2000-2003. EUROPA NOSTRA Awards to 2004. – CULTURE 2000-PHAROS: ''Holistic Strategy for the Preservation, Restoration and Integration in the Life of the Modern Societies of Old European Masonry Lighthouses-Pharos''. European Commission 2004-2007. Laboratory support in International Seminars such as: “Conservation of Ancient Masonry in Byzantine Architecture Theory and Practice” – CAMBA '98 & CAMBA '99 AUTH, Greece (ICCROM) and “MARE.14 – Materials and Techniques for the Restoration of Monuments”, AUTH , Greece.
