Kampasakali Elli

Dr. Elli Kampasakali is a graduate of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Athens. and holds a master's degree and a doctorate degree from the Polytechnic School of the University of Athens. in Conservation Science. He has carried out post-doctoral research and has worked in the chemical laboratories of the TATE (London) and Getty Institute (Los Angeles) museums, studying and analyzing materials and works of contemporary art. Her research interests focus on the characterization and study of traditional and contemporary art materials and the effect of conservation practices and aging processes on them through the application of modern analytical techniques. He has participated in national and European programs related to cultural heritage research. As part of a research program related to modern painting materials, her research was awarded an international prize for research and innovation in conservation. Her published work includes over 30 articles in international scientific journals and conference proceedings. Today, she is a lecturer at the Interdepartmental Master's Degree of the Polytechnic School of A.U.Th. in "Protection, Maintenance and Restoration of Works of Art and Mechanisms" and collaborating postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
